It All Started With A Sleigh Ride...
Last year we made our annual trek out to Timber Trails Tree Farm to rustle up the perfect tree. One of their offerings is a free sleigh ride through the woods. So we hopped up onto a sled heaped high with bales, along with about 20 other people. We slid smoothly along snowy trails. Maybe it was the jingle of the sleigh bells, or the softly falling flakes, or just that we were all there to find a Christmas tree, but soon we were sharing funny Christmas tree stories.
The reel of bloopers included dogs, cats and toddlers, and a variety of flops and miscalculations.
We grinned and giggled our way through the woods.
Too soon though, it was over and details of the hilarious stories we'd heard started to fade.

Let The Collection Begin! As a writer, it pains me to watch good stories fade away into the forgotten. It thrills me to record and share stories.
So the collection begins! Immortalize your hilarity in this collection of Christmas Tree bloopers and mishaps. You get to share your story, and maybe become published or even win a prize. Readers will enjoy your story, laughing along, probably glad they're not the only ones whose Christmas celebrations are sometimes a bit of a gong show. |
