Ever wish for a mentor? Someone with experience who would genuinely care for and invest in you? That's what I deliver in our group Writing Mentor Sessions. I genuinely care about helping writers, and am glad to share from my knowledge, experience, and resources to help you with your writing. What exactly that means is up to you. Think of me as the professor you can approach between classes and ask those burning questions. Think of me as the counsellor you see to get help troubleshooting any number of things. Think of me as the IT department who can help untangle the nitty gritty details or at least help you cut through all the online noise and garbage that makes things complicated rather than simpler. Or as a friend who wants to help. Mentoring looks like simple conversations. Ask anything, and I'll share generously and freely from my experience and resources. Here's what you can expect: A real life mentor who's been there, and who genuinely wants to help writers do their thing. From my 15+ years of writing, editing, and publishing I will share insights, wisdom, and expertise on writing. How Mentoring for Writers Works:1.Email me to express your interest. 2.Once you're in, I email a Zoom link and schedule. 3.Every two weeks I show up and give generously and freely of what I know and even resources I have. 4. Each group is closed and separate from the others, and its schedule made around its members. Translation: you stay with the same people and get to choose a time that works for you! The expertise from which I share, comes from years of experience in the writing world. I'm not famous, will never be president, and have not sold millions of copies of anything.
In my 15+ year writing career, I have:
* worked as a journalist for a newspaper and editorial writer at a magazine
* managed social media and ghost-written blogs for multiple organizations and businesses
* published multiple books of varying lengths
* created, published, and launched online courses
* coached authors and entrepreneurs
* guided book launches for authors

* co-led a writing group, spearheaded multiple projects, and led many meetings and groups
